A sizing tool, not a review site

Most people shopping for a portable power station are really asking one question: will this keep my things running, and for how long? RightSizePower answers that with arithmetic you can check, using the specs manufacturers publish and appliance energy data from sources such as ENERGY STAR.

We don't run a test lab and we don't claim hands-on testing. When we cite independent measurements, we name who made them. When a manufacturer leaves a number out, we say so instead of guessing.

The site covers the US market only: 120 V outlets, US models and amazon.com availability.
