Buy the Bluetti Elite 200 V2 if it stays home or rolls on a cart: it supplies more power, takes twice the solar, has a published full-charge time and a 5-year warranty. Buy the EcoFlow DELTA 3 Max if you need to lift it, want the faster 10 ms UPS switchover, or plan to run a microwave alongside the fridge. Both hold about 2 kWh of LiFePO4, neither takes extra batteries, and they run the same devices for about the same time.

EcoFlow DELTA 3 Max: the one you can lift

The DELTA 3 Max holds 2,048 Wh and supplies 2,400 W, enough for a fridge, a sump pump or a window AC. At 44.8 lb it's a two-hand carry rather than a cart job. It switches over in 10 ms in UPS mode, has four AC outlets, three 100 W USB-C ports, one USB-A port and a car outlet, and charges from the wall at up to 1,800 W, reaching 80% in 68 minutes. X-Boost lets heating appliances up to 3,400 W run at reduced power; it doesn't help motors start.

Its weaknesses are on paper. EcoFlow's 4,800 W surge figure appears only in marketing copy, the page we used states no cycle rating, and solar input stops at 500 W. The warranty is 3 years, plus 2 more when you register it in the EcoFlow app. Our sources list no extra battery, so plan on 2 kWh for its life.

Not for you if: you'll recharge mainly from solar, or you want a written cycle rating and a 5-year warranty without registering an app.

Bluetti Elite 200 V2: more output, more solar, heavier

The Elite 200 V2 holds 2,073.6 Wh and supplies 2,600 W. It takes up to 1,000 W of solar at 12–60 V through an XT60 input, double the EcoFlow's limit, and up to 2,400 W when you combine wall and solar charging. From the wall alone it refills in 84 minutes at 1,800 W. Bluetti lists a 15 ms UPS switchover and a 5-year warranty, and its Canadian store and reviews cite 6,000 cycles to 80%, which we mark as unconfirmed.

Two things hold it back. At 53.35 lb it's over the 50 lb we treat as a two-hand carry, so plan on a cart or a spot where it stays. And Bluetti states no surge figure; retailers quote 3,900 to 5,200 W, but our engine only counts the 2,600 W continuous rating, which rules it out when a fridge compressor might start while a microwave is running. Its 3,900 W Power Lifting mode is for heating loads only. The four-outlet AC count comes from a US review.

Not for you if: it needs to be lifted into a car, or you'll run a microwave or a coffee maker alongside the fridge and want a published surge rating behind it.

On either unit, turn off any ECO or auto-off setting for the AC output before leaving a fridge on it overnight; a low fridge load between compressor cycles can look like nothing is plugged in.

When does the quiz engine prefer each one?

We ran five situations through the engine the quiz uses. When wheels are fine, the Elite 200 V2 wins on its published charge time, warranty and solar input, taking 3 of 5. The DELTA 3 Max wins when the unit must be carried or a microwave joins the fridge. A higher score means a better fit for that situation, not a better product overall.

Who should buy which

  • Buy the Bluetti Elite 200 V2 if it stays in the house or on a cart for outages, you plan to recharge from solar, or you want the longer warranty without app registration. A top-freezer fridge runs about 28 h on either. See can a power station run a sump pump if that's the job.
  • Buy the EcoFlow DELTA 3 Max if it also goes camping or in the car, a computer needs the 10 ms switchover, or you want to run a microwave during an outage.
  • Look at the alternatives if you want to add batteries later. Our DELTA 3 Max vs C2000 Gen 2 and DJI Power 2000 vs DELTA 3 Max guides cover two expandable 2 kWh rivals.

Which model does the quiz pick for these situations?

Across the whole catalog, not just these two. Open any row in the quiz and swap in your own devices.

Picks come from the same engine as the quiz, recalculated whenever our catalog changes.

What people actually ask

Can either one take extra batteries?

Not according to our sources. EcoFlow's page is ambiguous and lists no extra battery for the DELTA 3 Max, and Bluetti doesn't document expansion for the Elite 200 V2, so we treat both as fixed at about 2 kWh. The DELTA 3 Max Plus is EcoFlow's expandable model at this size.

Can the Bluetti Elite 200 V2 run a microwave and a fridge together?

It has the continuous power: about 1,660 W together against its 2,600 W. The catch is start-up. If the fridge compressor kicks on while the microwave runs, the load briefly reaches about 2,700 W, and Bluetti publishes no surge figure for the Elite 200 V2 (retailers cite 3,900 to 5,200 W), so our engine plans around 2,600 W and rules it out. Its 3,900 W Power Lifting mode is for heating appliances, not motor start-up. EcoFlow's 4,800 W surge for the DELTA 3 Max covers it, though that figure appears only in marketing copy.

Which recharges faster from the wall?

They're close. Both charge at up to 1,800 W from an outlet. Bluetti lists a full charge in 84 minutes and up to 2,400 W when you combine AC and solar; EcoFlow lists 0–80% in 68 minutes.

Can either one run a window air conditioner?

Yes. A typical 8,000 BTU window unit starts at about 1,599 W, inside both units' limits. Running nonstop with the compressor cycling, expect about 4.7 h on the DELTA 3 Max and 4.7 h on the Elite 200 V2 by our estimate, so plan on cooling one room for part of a night.

Which is better for car camping?

The DELTA 3 Max, mostly on weight: it's under 50 lb and the Elite 200 V2 is over. Both have a car outlet for a 12 V fridge and run one for several days. The Elite 200 V2 takes twice the solar input, which helps if you camp for a week.

The bottom line

Same 2 kWh class, no expansion on either. The Bluetti Elite 200 V2 is the better home-outage unit if weight doesn't matter: 200 W more output, 1,000 W of solar, an 84-minute full charge and a 5-year warranty. The EcoFlow DELTA 3 Max is the one to pick if it has to be lifted, a computer needs a 10 ms switchover, or a microwave will share the battery with the fridge.
