What will it run, and for how long?
Each device on its own from a full charge of the base unit, running nonstop (the fridge, pumps and air conditioner cycle as normal). Includes the battery reserve, conversion losses and standby draw from our published formula.
| Device | Plugged into | Runtime or limit |
|---|---|---|
| Top-freezer fridgeabout 0.99 kWh a day, 1,200 W to start | AC outlet | 24–29 h |
| CPAP, humidifier off11 W | 12 V outlet | 5.2–6.5 days |
| Wi-Fi router and modem15 W | AC outlet | 44 h – 2.3 days |
| Laptop60 W | USB-C | 24–29 h |
| Desktop PC and monitor213 W | AC outlet | 5.8–7.2 h |
| Sump pump, ½ hp1,050 W, 2,150 W to start, cycles on and off | AC outlet | 23–29 h |
| Gas furnace blower400 W, 1,400 W to start, cycles on and off | AC outlet | 7.6–9.4 h |
| Microwave1,500 W | AC outlet | 53 min – 1.1 h |
| RV air conditioner, 13,500 BTU1,600 W, 2,800 W to start, cycles on and off | AC outlet | 1.4–1.7 h |
| Well pump, ½ hp, 240 V670 W, 7,400 W to start | — | Won't run: needs 240 V; it has no 240 V output |
With battery packs up to about 12 kWh, a fridge alone runs about 6.8 days. Add your own mix in the runtime calculator.
Where the HomePower 2000 Plus v2 wins, and where it's ruled out
We ran eight common situations through the quiz engine. Rank is among every model that passes the hard limits.
| Situation | Result | Runtime or reason |
|---|---|---|
| Outage overnight: fridge, Wi-Fi and phones (carry it) | #17 of 20 | About 21 h |
| Outage for a full day, same devices (wheels OK) | #18 of 20 | About 4.9 days with an extra battery |
| CPAP for two nights away, one-hand carry | Ruled out | 41 lb is heavier than you want to carry. |
| Weekend car camping: 12 V fridge, lights, phones, with solar | #4 of 16 | About 45 h |
| RV day: fan, TV, laptop, phones | #16 of 25 | About 28 h |
| Remote work day: Starlink, laptop, phone | Ruled out | Runs your devices for about 14 h; you asked for 24 h. |
| Home office on UPS: router, laptop, phone, overnight | #17 of 20 | About 29 h |
| Overnight essentials on a budget under $500 | Ruled out | Usually sells above your budget. |
This is an outage battery first. It places near the top for an overnight outage, a home office on UPS and a solar camping weekend, and covers a full outage day once a battery pack is added. At 41.45 lb it's out of one-hand CPAP travel, and a day of Starlink plus a laptop asks for more than one charge holds.
What does it do well?
- A full day of fridge. About 28 h for a top-freezer fridge alone, and about 27 h for a ½ hp sump pump at normal cycling.
- Room to grow. Battery Pack 2000 Plus v2 units take it to about 12 kWh, enough for about 6.8 days of fridge alone.
- UPS for a home office. A listed switchover within 10 ms; the table shows about 6.9 h for a desktop PC and monitor.
- Long-life battery. Jackery rates it for 6,000 cycles to 70% capacity.
- Output priority. Jackery lists smart AC output priority across two outlet groups, AC1 and AC2; the manual explains how each group is handled.
- A car outlet. The 12 V socket runs a CPAP without the humidifier for about 6.2 days, without going through the inverter.
What should you know before you buy?
- No 240 V. 240 V well pumps, dryers and HVAC are out. Feeding 120 V house circuits needs a transfer switch or inlet installed by a licensed electrician.
- Only the v2 battery pack fits. The first-generation Battery Pack 2000 Plus isn't compatible, and the 12 kWh maximum isn't fully confirmed on Jackery's spec sheet yet.
- Four AC outlets, no TT-30. An RV needs an adapter, and 2,400 W is the cap for all outlets together.
- Warranty depends on the seller. 3 years, plus 2 more only when bought from jackery.com.
- Solar is two DC8020 inputs. Up to 800 W at PV 16-60V (21A max), so keep a panel string's rated open-circuit voltage at or under about 51 V (85% of the 60 V limit), because it rises in cold weather.
What are the closest alternatives?
The Anker SOLIX C2000 Gen 2 has nearly the same battery and 2,400 W output at 41.7 lb, adds a TT-30 RV outlet and a 5-year warranty, but takes only one extra battery for 4,096 Wh; see our C2000 Gen 2 guide. The DJI Power 2000 holds 2,048 Wh with 3,000 W output and grows to 22,528 Wh, but has no car socket and weighs 48.5 lb; see our DJI Power 2000 guide.

- Buy it for outages that last a night or a day, for a basement with a sump pump, for a home office that shouldn't drop, or if you want to grow storage with battery packs later.
- Skip it if you need 240 V, want a TT-30 RV outlet, or carry your unit often. The sizing quiz checks your devices against every model.

What people actually ask
How long will the HomePower 2000 Plus v2 run a refrigerator?
About 28 h for a typical top-freezer fridge on its own from a full charge. With battery packs added up to about 12 kWh, the same fridge runs about 6.8 days.
Can I use my old 2000 Plus battery pack with the v2?
No. Jackery says only the Battery Pack 2000 Plus v2 works with this unit; the first-generation pack isn't compatible. Check the exact pack name before you buy one.
Can it run a sump pump and a fridge together?
Yes: together with a router they start within its 4,800 W surge, and run about 14 h at normal cycling from a full charge. A pump that runs nonstop in a heavy storm drains it faster. Plug the pump directly into the unit; hard-wiring into the house needs a licensed electrician.
Is the HomePower 2000 Plus v2 a UPS?
Jackery lists a switchover within 10 ms, which routers, modems and most desktop PCs ride through. It isn't a zero-millisecond online UPS, so don't rely on it for servers or medical equipment without checking the manual.
Can it power a 240 V well pump?
No. It has 4 standard 120 V outlets and no 240 V output. For 240 V loads, look at a 120/240 V unit like the EcoFlow DELTA Pro 3, connected by a licensed electrician.
The bottom line
The HomePower 2000 Plus v2 is a 2 kWh outage battery with a 10 ms switchover, a 4,800 W surge for fridges and sump pumps, and battery packs up to about 12 kWh. It suits 120 V home backup that may grow; if you need 240 V or an RV outlet, look elsewhere.
