Buy the Bluetti Elite 100 V2 if you want a 1 kWh unit that runs a fridge and a home office through an overnight outage, works as a UPS and can refill fast from a large solar array. Skip it if you might add batteries later, want to carry it one-handed, or want the longest published warranty. It holds 1,024 Wh of LiFePO4, supplies 1,800 W continuously and accepts up to 1,000 W of solar, the most of any current 1 kWh unit we track.

What will it run, and for how long?

Each device on its own from a full charge, running nonstop (the fridge and blanket cycle as normal). Includes the battery reserve, conversion losses and standby draw from our published formula.

Where the Elite 100 V2 wins, and where it's ruled out

We ran eight common situations through the quiz engine. Rank is among every model that passes the hard limits.

The Elite 100 V2 passes the overnight outage, home-office UPS and budget cases, though other 1 kWh units usually rank ahead of it on output, charging speed or weight. At 25.3 lb it's just over our one-hand carry limit, which rules it out of the CPAP travel case, and like every 1 kWh unit it can't cover a full day of fridge backup.

What does it do well?

  • Big solar input for its size. Up to 1,000 W at 12–60 V and 20 A. With about 1,400 W of panels, about 1 h of strong sun refills it, useful for off-grid cabins and long outages with solar.
  • Plenty of output. 1,800 W continuous, typical for current 1 kWh models, runs a typical microwave or coffee maker.
  • UPS with a published switchover. Within 10 ms, so it can sit behind a router, CPAP or desktop.
  • Good USB-C and a car outlet. Two 140 W USB-C ports for laptops, and a 12 V outlet that runs a CPAP on its DC cable for about 3.1 days of nonstop use with the humidifier off.
  • Long-life battery. LiFePO4 rated for 4,000 cycles to 80%.

What should you know before you buy?

  • Turn ECO mode off for a fridge or CPAP. Bluetti's ECO mode switches the AC output off when the load stays low, and on other Bluetti models, such as the AC70, it ships switched on. A fridge between cycles, a router or a CPAP can fall below the threshold overnight.
  • No documented expansion. Plan on 1,024 Wh for the life of the unit.
  • Wall charging is quick to 80%, not to 100%. Bluetti lists 0–80% in 45 minutes at up to 1,200 W, but no full-charge time.
  • Surge rating comes from a comparison table. The 2,700 W surge matches Bluetti's Power Lifting figure and comfortably starts a fridge, but we mark it unconfirmed until the spec sheet states it on its own.
  • Pass-through limit. When plugged into the wall, the AC outlets pass through up to 1,800 W.
  • Warranty terms. We couldn't confirm the warranty length for this model. Bluetti's warranty page covers units bought from Bluetti or its authorized sellers, so check who the Amazon seller is and keep proof of purchase.

What are the closest alternatives?

The Anker SOLIX C1000 Gen 2 has the same capacity with 2,000 W output, a 49-minute full charge (with UltraFast on in the app) and a 5-year warranty at 24.9 lb, but accepts 600 W of solar; see our C1000 Gen 2 guide. The EcoFlow DELTA 3 Classic matches the 1,800 W output, adds a 3,600 W surge and a 60-minute full charge, but tops out at 500 W of solar and lists no car outlet; see our DELTA 3 Classic guide. Bluetti's own AC180 holds a little more and has a published 5-year warranty but weighs about 10 lb more and takes half the solar; see AC180 vs Elite 100 V2 and our AC180 guide.

Who should buy it, and who shouldn't?

  • Buy it if solar is your main way to recharge, for a cabin, van or a long outage with panels, or for an overnight outage with a fridge and home office on UPS.
  • Skip it if you'll want to add batteries, need a full day of fridge backup, want to carry it one-handed, or mostly recharge from the wall, where other 1 kWh units refill faster. The sizing quiz checks your devices against every model.

More on sizing: how long a power station runs a refrigerator and home backup picks by outage type, or every model in the comparison chart.

What people actually ask

Can the Bluetti Elite 100 V2 run a refrigerator?

Yes. A typical fridge compressor needs around 1,200 W to start, within its 2,700 W surge, and a top-freezer fridge runs for about 15 hours on its own. Turn off ECO mode for a fridge, so a low load between compressor cycles doesn't switch the AC output off.

How fast does the Elite 100 V2 charge from solar?

It accepts up to 1,000 W of solar at 12 to 60 V and 20 A, a lot for a 1 kWh unit. Panels deliver about 70% of their rating in real sun, so you'd need roughly 1,400 W of panels to hit that limit; at full rate a refill takes about an hour of strong sun.

Can I add an extra battery to the Elite 100 V2?

Bluetti doesn't document native expansion for it, so plan on 1,024 Wh as the ceiling. If you want to grow later, pick an expandable unit from the start.

What is Power Lifting on the Elite 100 V2?

Bluetti's mode for heating appliances rated above 1,800 W, such as a hair dryer or kettle, up to 2,700 W. It lowers the voltage so they run at reduced power instead of tripping the unit. It doesn't add capacity and doesn't help motors start.

Can the Elite 100 V2 work as a UPS for a CPAP or computer?

Bluetti lists a switchover within 10 ms, which suits routers, CPAP machines and many desktop PCs. Turn off ECO mode so a low overnight load doesn't shut the AC outlets off. For servers and workstations, use a dedicated UPS.

The bottom line

The Elite 100 V2 is a solid 1 kWh unit whose standout is 1,000 W of solar input. It runs a fridge for about 15 h, works as a UPS and handles a microwave. Pick it if you'll recharge from panels; if you recharge from the wall and want more output or a known warranty, the Anker C1000 Gen 2 is the stronger buy. Either way, turn ECO mode off before relying on it overnight.
